CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Continuous Improvement
is surrounded by a process. You may already have pieces of that
process. We can start at the beginning or supplement your current plans
and goals.
Identify and Document Goals: Avoid assumptions and making sure the goals are clear and measurable so that they can be communicated effectively to the entire organization. This is the first step in getting everyone focused in the same direction.
Explore: we gather information about what's working and what's not using several methods including: management and
employee interviews, observation, customer data, process mapping,
surveys.
Analyze:Taking the time to review reports, data, behaviors, dynamics and
culture will help to identify root causes instead of making assumptions
and putting band-aids on issues. During analysis we can identify the
gaps between goals and process or performance.
Identify Solutions: During this phase, we brainstorm creative solutions that may
include training, process changes, team building, management coaching or
other techniques that will generate positive change.
Create and Implement Plan: The solutions may require one plan or several plans to generate desired
results. Plans may include: a) change management plan, b)
communication plan, c) training, coaching plan and scheduling.
Measure, Monitor and Coach for Success: What
happens after solutions have been implemented is critical
to ensure effective change and ongoing improvement. We will have
identified the appropriate measurements and then coach management to
monitor those metrics and coach for improvement and success.
In addition to training and keynotes, The Harlow Group provides services that support the continuous improvement process.
